Counselors' Corner
CAP (High School)
Mr. Christopher Sedlak Is a School Psychologist and a member of the Child Study Team. He is the Case Manager for Cranford students attending Lincoln School, as well as for several who attend out-of-district programs. Mr. Sedlak also is one of the counselors for the CAP (high school) students, providing weekly individual and group counseling. Counseling goals often include supporting each student's success in both academic and personal growth.
Mrs. Vanessa Velazquez is the social worker, as well as a counselor, for the High School. She provides individual counseling for half of the high school students on a weekly basis, and conducts intakes for the high school programs.
CAMP (Middle School)
Mrs. Cynthia Arch coordinates the CAMP program and as such, provides regular communication with case managers in other districts to ensure that all students are receiving the necessary accommodations. Mrs. Arch also assists parents in obtaining services in the community, assisted the principal with intakes, and facilitates IEP meetings. In addition, she sees all the middle school students (CAMP) for weekly individual and group counseling.
LEAP (Elementary School)
Dr. Cimring is a School Psychologist and Licensed Psychologist. She has worked in school settings and private practice for over 27 years. She focuses on evidence based school interventions, cognitive behavioral interventions within the school setting, working with parents and supporting students with social and emotional learning.
