We are presently in need of candidates for the positions of President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.

President

President is responsible for leading the PTA and is the presiding officer at all PTA meetings. The president is the spokesperson for the PTA, the authorized signer of contracts and one of the signers of the checks. The president oversees the activities of the board to ensure the goals are being met

Vice President

Vice President is responsible for acting as President in their absence and any other duties as assigned in the PTA’s standing rules or assigned by the President.

Secretary

Secretary is responsible for keeping an accurate, concise, permanent record of proceedings at all PTA meetings. The secretary will conduct the PTAs general correspondence as directed by the President

Treasurer

Treasurer is responsible for keeping financial records and preparing reports to comply with NJPTA, State and Federal rules. The treasurer is the custodian of the funds of the association, keeping the record of income and expenditures and one of the signers on the checks.

In order to vote for officers, committees and the budget, 10 members will need to be present at the meeting.

All meetings to be held virtually in the evening.
