Curriculum

Lincoln School's curriculum is a modified version of the Cranford Public Schools curriculum, designed to meet the varied academic levels of our students while maintaining a high standard of academic rigor. This approach ensures all students not only meet but exceed the New Jersey state academic requirements, preparing them for graduation and beyond.

Our curriculum is grounded in a high level of academic offering, with a strong focus on core subjects and specialized electives. To ensure all students can access and succeed in this rigorous environment, we have built a robust support system. Content area supervisors provide high-level oversight and guidance, ensuring the curriculum remains coherent and effective.

Classroom assistants play a vital role in delivering personalized support. They work alongside teachers to provide one-on-one and small-group assistance, helping students with different learning styles and paces to grasp complex concepts. This layered support system allows us to modify the curriculum in real-time, adapting it to the specific needs of our student population without compromising academic integrity.

The curriculum is structured to progressively build upon foundational knowledge, with each grade level moving students closer to meeting graduation requirements. This includes fulfilling all required credits and demonstrating proficiency in key subject areas as mandated by the state of New Jersey. We regularly assess student progress to ensure they are on track, providing targeted interventions and enrichment opportunities as needed to keep them on the path to graduation.
